I Love this Life

Every now and then I get to whining that,
Not a single day has enough time in it,
No time for fun because we work so hard,
no time for play because we’re just too tired.
Seems like sometimes in this life we’re living,
We’re not getting nearly what we’re giving,
So busy trying to make it to the top,
but every now and then I’ve got to stop,
And when I take a look at everything around me,
And all the precious treasures that surround me,
And if I take the time to see all that is right,
I see how I love this life!

CHORUS:

I got the sun peaking over those trees each day,
and a house nestled in the hills,
I’ve got the magic colors of spring and fall,
and I can dress for the winter chills,
I have people here that I just adore, and that love’s reflected back,
So if I ever start to slip a bit off track,
I remind myself of all that’s going right,
And how I love this life.
You know the bills will just keep going higher,
with all that we feel we need to acquire,
We got to realize that it’s just stuff,
we have to learn to say enough’s enough,
You and I need time to breathe,
‘cause we have everything we’ll ever need,
And I know I am going to be just fine,
as long as I have got your hand in mine,
And when I take a look at everything around me,
And all the precious treasures that surround me,
And if I take the time to see all that is right,
I see how I love this life!

CHORUS:

BRIDGE:.
You and I have got to promise that we’ll do our best,
To treasure everything we’ve got, remember how we’re blessed…
CHORUS:
